Bugs (in order of most-likely-to-get-squashed)
- Broken images appears as small files. They should be deleted automatically
- ComicFetch looks ugly when using 8bit color depth
- When canceling automatic check, the notify-window shouldn't be shown
- Percentage-digits cannot be read, because of the color
- Invoking browser, when using networkdrive => error
- Abort isn't perfect. Some activity still occur after aborting
- When trying to close the program while fetching, the program doesn't terminate properly
- Needs comctrl32.dll on Win95?
- Proxy does not work when checking for updates
To-Do (in order of most-likely-to-be-done)
- Add "New" to the filterlist in subscriptions
- "Check all" and "Uncheck all" in subscription window (suggested by Mike Allen)
- Timelimit on the program, allowing anybody to review it for a week or two
- Better support for modem-users. Check for connection before starting fetching
- "Download" should download program, not show homepage
- Icon indicating priority in Check for Updates-window
- Check for existence of allready downloaded images, when downloading
- Spinboxes look bad
Wishes (in order of I'd-really-like-this-and-just-might-implement-it)
- Make it possible for the artist to supply a RDF containing information about presentation, banners and special messages
- Make an online form, where the artist could have such an RDF created
- Check for last drawn strip in a given comic
- Userdefined HTML-page
- Sampling of comic (show 2 weeks from a given comic)
- PURL
- More fun
- Generate multiple pages instead of just one (max strips/page, max comics/page)
- Check for existence of images on server, when not downloading
- Width and Height in IMG, when fetching images
- Recommendations based on selected comics
- Statistics
Total fetched, downloaded images, invocations, installtime, running time, mouseclicke, keypress, favorite comic, averages.
Use Checksum, make "Comic Odometer:"
- Support for story-lines
